If anyone has any suggestions for finding ABA scores, we'd love to hear them. We're missing scores for the following games:

We've called all the home teams from above, and after leaving many messages, we still cannnot get the results. I'm willing to bet that some of the above contests were not played, but we have no way of knowing for sure.

The owner follows through on a promise to have an opponent for every game...

I guess that is more than most teams in this league can promise....

From the Portland newspaper...

*Last-minute switch: The Reign made good last week on founder Mary Liss’ promise to have an opponent for every home date. The Reign got the Vancouver (Wash.) Trappers of the expansion International Basketball League to play them on Saturday after the Visalia (Calif.) Dawgs were unable to make the trip north. Portland scored a 138-104 win over Vancouver, which plans to begin play in the spring. John Outlaw led Portland with 24 points, and Ha Seung-Jin had a season-high 13 points, hitting 5 of 7 from the field. Vancouver got 29 points from Aaron McKinney, whose brother Charles plays for the Reign.
* *Next: Portland (2-1) plays host to the Bellevue (Wash.) Blackhawks (0-3) at 7 tonight at Warner Pacific College.

So, two questions...does this game count in the standings? And, how good can a team that doesn't play until next spring be? I'd have to say that this is YMCA caliber play at best.

smashcfr, you are correct on that Ontario-Tijuana score. To the Ontario Warriors' credit, they called us today and reported the score.

As found on Hermosillo's newspaper :

Con 31 puntos de Jemaine Slider, los Seris de Hermosillo obtuvieron su primera victoria de la temporada al derrotar 131-125 a los Dragones de Tijuana, en su debut en Asociación de Basquetbol de América (ABA).
Durante los primeros tres periodos los Seris batallaron para detener a los Dragones, pero en el último cuarto pudieron remontar el marcador.

You are correct. We have changed that Dragons game score as 131-125 also appears on the Dragons site.

Any games involving Cincinnati likely won't be played. The team has no owner and no home court. They'll either fold or be replaced.
