The Sunkings arent dead yet, they played a solid game yesterday. They are lacking size in the middle. The Cavs have some serious size as much as I have ever seen in the CBA. They couldnt take advantage of it. Haywood is quite the trashtalker. Crow complained coming out of the half to the scorers table that they didnt have adequate warm up time ,because of the half time show. So we rode him hard in the second half. If the Cavs can win game one in Lawton they will have achance to win one in Yak. If it's only a best of three series. Look foward to tonite.
about your opening, 'the sunkings aren't dead?" What's that mean? Please, no sarcasm, just a straight answer for once?!

I was serious, Yakima has come back to the pack in recent weeks. I was the first one to admit that winning the championship will be more difficult than it appeared back in Dec. I still think they have the firepower and team goals to get it done.

Adam Spanich is who it was my error not Darold Crow.

Even with their recent 'slump', I don't think any of us doubted that the Sun Kings are the league's best.

Adam was the first player out at the half on both days in Pikeville. He didnt waste anytime getting a basketball to warm up even with the cheerleaders on the floor doing a dance routine.

He needs warmup , it's the only way he is going to break a sweat.

He was a nice guy... I think he realizes he has to work harder then the other Cavalry players as he might not ahve the most God-given talents.. but I would guess he is the first out to warm-up each night... He was very genuine and seemed like a good-guy (even added a bible verse to his auto).
Seem odd to anyone that the National Division has their three game playoff series set when the league does not even have a date set for the one game Playoff to decide the American Division playoffs?

No. It was obvious weeks ago which two teams in the National Conference were going to be in the playoffs. With all that lead time, you can secure venues and arrange travel. In the American Conference, it was too close to call until this week, and we are very close to an announcement on which date the Miners will travel to Pitt
about the announcement. But what I'm saying is maybe they should have waited to make the announcement of the Oklahoma/Yakama series, until after it is known who Minot will play, so both of those series can play at similar times.

They will be playing at similiar times. The play-in game will only take 2 extra days. And there really hasn't been anything I would consider a formal announcement, as much as a few people coming forward with information. Oklahoma radio guys aren't CBA officials

Most don't know it, but Spanich can drill three pointers from just about anywhere.
He has hit 20 in a row during practices.
Several games he has drained them, If he gets hot. That is the problem, there have been times where he has been colder than ice.
His stats for 3 pointers: 35 of 79 for 0.443 pct.
Not bad

He's a one trick pony though
It's going to be a whale of a series, Oklahoma was leading Yakama with over a minute left(92-77).
As far as official word on the playoffs. the only source I have is the latest release from the Oklahoma Cavalry.
Their dates were announced as part of a three game series, beginning on the 11th.

CAVS WIN...
3 of the 5 losses Yakama has were to the CAVS.
Will make one heck of a series...
From what the CAVS announcer says the playoff series will start March 11.
March 11 - Lawton
March 14 - Yakama
March 17 - Yakama
I didn't write the exact dates, but I think that is what was said.
Those are right, Cavsfan. They were on your team's pr.

Yakama has the home dates posted on their website also.
They have to play the games at the Yakima Valley Community College due to overbooking at the Sundome.
They even has this posted on their site:
Invoices will soon go out to our Season Ticket holders for the FINALS which will be held in the: YAKIMA VALLEY SUNDOME
I would hope that the league gets an announcement of the showdown date out soon! So the X have time to promote it(if we are hosting)!

Dont take it persoanlly OK all teams in all sports send out playoff tix Invoices for the whole playoffs. The games played at YVCC will not be included in the normal season ticketholder package. First come first serve 8.00$ So the season ticketholders have to get in line,(wishful thinking) with the rest of the people. No priority. My prediction Cavs in 3. The Cavs were whoopin up pretty good on our floor and Coach Woolpert made the guys take notice during a timeout.
I've seen some teams add the playoffs as part of the package for buying season tickets. In fact, the X have on their website(under ticket sales) that season ticket holders will have the benefits for the playoffs. Although I'm not sure what they would classify a one game showdown as. I would guess it could be considered the playoffs.

I figured they were just announcing that the finals would be played in the Sundome if Kings get there.
I know if I were a Season Ticket holder there, I would want to know if they would be playing in the dome or not.
As for the CAVS in 3, I like the prediction.
Could be in 2, if the CAVS play like they did in last nights game. They can do it as long as they don't get the big head after getting a lead, something they have done all season. Get the lead, be stupid and loose it because of turnovers or just not keeping their brains in the game.
I know it will be a great series.
