This was in the Thursday edition of the Jamestown(NY) Post-Journal. Haines claims he has sold the Jamestown and Indiana (PA) franchises. It is interesting that he has so many outstanding debts and is unavailable to talk to the people who he owes money to, yet he is available for 'public relations'.

Who would be foolish enough to go in with Haines?

Whoever bought the teams will have his work cut out for him...Reminds me of Tuckman buying the CBA's Great Falls Explorers from Apex, and running into a lot of debt the owners had left, he had to suspend operations.
Who would support a cease-and-desist letter to Andrew Haines banning him from starting any sports leagues?

We got burnt, said Jerry Spoto, Mrs. Spotos husband. I want to know how did the city of Jamestown, how did the ice arena, how did The Post-Journal, how did SE 93 and the media, how did they let a 28-year-old kid come to the city and look like a savior? Spoto said of Haines. Did anybody check out this guy on the Internet?
Haines is only 28 years old? Are you kidding me?

As of Wednesday, Haines "Was in the process" of selling the Ice-Miners and
even further away from selling the Vikings. Anything since?
What he needs is a "cease-and-desist" order on promoting fake minor leagues...

And he's failed as a league administrator in two sports.

And he'll do the same thing he always does, sell a minority ownership to anyone who can cough up some quick cash. Then he can claim a "sale."

Just so he doesn't get in legal trouble again, do the current owners know he sold the team? And does this sale have their approval?

I'd wager that wherever it is, Andrew Haines will not be involved.

How can you sell something that has no value? Who is dumb enough to buy it, or to even take it over free of charge and assume the debt?

If someone is willing to pay for it, then it has value. Here's hoping the new owner can make it work in Indiana and the MAHL. I still think this league can work under the right circumstances....
