Revolution Enterprises--New Sports Franchisor Concept

As a subscriber to Street & Smith's SportsBusiness Journal, I noticed an article about Revolution Enterprises in the 2/18-2/24/08 edition. Revolution plans to become the franchisor for teams in its own Indoor Lacrosse, Boxing, Indoor Football and Hockey operations. The article says Revolution will have eight teams competing in its football and lacrosse leagues in 2009, with hockey to follow in 2010. It is targeting the top 100 markets. Apparently, they have hooked up with Global Entertainment, operators of the CHL.

It's not Global entertainment, It's Global Spectrum. So the CHL is not involved directly.

Seems to be some heavy players in this already.
