Quad Cities is really on a roll winning now Eight straight games. 1st year coach Latroy Farrow is reall doing an outstanding job.

Of course anything could happen, but we may be heading to a Rochester/Quad Cities championship.

I am looking foward to seeing the Showcase this week in Chicago. I get a chance to see all the teams, but I still think the league should have used a different venue. Saint Xavier University in Chicago is where they should have held this showcase. Parking, the sourrounding area, restuarants, seating, consessions, are much better at Saint X for this type of event.

I suspect they aren't expecting anyone but scouts to be at this event. I can't imagine anyone but a scout being at an 11:00am Monday game between two out-of-town teams. While added comfort would be nice, parking and whatnot is unlikely to be an issue.

A Quad Cities v. Rochester final would be interesting. I was impressed with Quad Cities when they played here. But, there are some other capable teams that could knock either one off.

I have actually thought of one other possible intended audience: investors they're trying to get to pick up the two flagging franchises.

Good point, although I'd head to Wilmington, Rochester, Reading, etc. to see a game in a normal situation with fans, promos, etc. But, Chicago is certainly a good place to go to meet all of the owners at the same time and see the quality of play throughout the league.
