The webcast was not that good tonight, for some reason. But I saw the turnout was good. Any numbers? As for E.K. on the way--we'll see.

5.5-1.5 with Albany going 1-6... sure looks like we will be up in Pitt soon.... it was a good turnout but the crowd noise was louder than a couple games where we had larger crowds....this is one time the Miners all thanked the 6th man (fans) for helping them to victory.

You have to go thru Minot before you can even think about us. And the Skyrockets are one of the hardest places to play. I would not look past them if I were you. Of course you have Atlanta first.

would never look past Minot... but they have nothing to do with us making it to Pitt for the one game playoff .. and even with a loss in Minot we should stay ahead of Albany as they also have Minot again plus 2 against Oklahoma.... as long as we handle business against ATL we will be 3rd which puts us in the play-in game

I just have a problem with the show down. We are in 2nd place, and we have a better record than you. It bothers me to think that you may make the playoffs over us. Hopefully, that won't happen, though. But my concerns will grow if you get the home court.

There shouldn't be any reason why the game isn't played in Pittsburgh, so don't worry about that. Probable dates are 3/11 (replacing Albany, if they are mathematically eliminated) or 3/13. The 11th makes the most sense with the arena already booked for the X to play

You have already played here your past two visits, splitting the series(a week apart). It would be nice if it was held up here again so we could win and advance.

Rest assured the play-in will be in Pitt, but talk about assumptions... better not give yourselves the home court win just yet..... I bought an used "X" foam finger on Ebay and have already dyed it Miners black and white for my next road trip.. With the magic of the foam finger, the Miners just might put the X out of the playoffs! But when you don't advance, I mean "if" you don't advance, don't worry I'll keep you posted about the Minot/EK series...

...the Patroons are headed for the golf course in another week.

They are 21-21 including the forfeit wins over Great Falls, and the real question is whether they can finish at .500, winning the two at home against RGV (probable) and one road game (possible, as Oklahoma is locked in second, there is a real enough possibility that Micheal Ray only plays the scrubs the last game of the season...).

Now this is something. Miners fans battling Xplosion fan, talking trash to each other as the playoffs arrive.

Now THIS is what OSC message boards should be about! Defend your team! Show your pride! Wave your foam fingers! Maybe PSBF can go borrow a Terrible Towel somewhere and really represent the Burgh! Maybe PikevilleOT can bring up that parakeet you've got for a mascot to the game!

Yeah, I should talk. I still haven't figured out why the Patroons' mascot is a panda bear, nor do I have any idea why it's named "Lido."

it really makes perfect sense to have the game on the 11th if the Steelers are going to be doing an exhibition that same night... make that night the play-in.. get your best home crowd of the season... and may the best team win!..

Chuck, can't you see the PPV fight now? Panda vs Canary..... it just reeks of success!
