The PBL version of the Magician's post on the ABA board, where the Texas Tycoons appear to be moonlighting as the "new look" Dallas Defenders. (http://www.oursportscentral.com/boards/showthread.php?t=10547)

From the USBasket.com (http://www.usbasket.com/PBL/PBL.asp) article:
[Dallas] sent on the court on February 23, a roster of 11 players, 8 of whom ( Taron Hill, Steven Dunn, Dameon Sansom, Randall Williams, Jonathan Young, Mario Kinsey, Melvin Mitchell and Ty Thomas ) are all yet listed as active players of the Texas Tycoons (ABA).

There was thought that the Tycoons were going to jump the ABA ship after the season was over, but considering that the Tycoons, like most of the ABA not in California or the Northeast, haven't been getting a lot of playing time, this might be in actuality a good way for the PBL to keep Dallas going this year while keeping the Tycoons sharp.

It also makes me wonder if the Tycoons might be interested in a Western Division slot in the PBL.

You gotta admit: Not a lot of guys are good enough players that they can manage to play basketball in two different leagues at the same time!
