March 11th - Vermont plays at the Gwinnett Convention Center.
March 19th - Atlanta plays at Vermont

#1 vs #7

Mucho thanks to both Michael and Alex at Vermont. We are looking forward to the game. By the way...its sunny at 65 degrees in Atlanta today. It should be a fun game for Kevin Harrington who has played for both teams!

It should be a great matchup. I'd love to see everybody fly in for it. If anybody on this thread comes to game, please stop by and say hello. I'll be the short bald guy in a Vision shirt shaking hands with everyone.

Now, this game I might have to travel over to ATL to watch! :-D

Which Vermont venue are you going to be playing at, Burlington or Barre?

I've attended all of the Vermont Frost Heaves games this year - home and away, including three trips to Halifax (1400 miles round trip). Coincidently, I'm flying into Tampa early afternoon on March 11 for business on March 12 - just might rent a car for the 6 hours north to Atlanta and shake your hand!!

GO HEAVES!!!

Dogriver, you are a dedicated fan. You might find it easier to fly AirTran from Tampa.

Our Hotel partner is the Hilton in Norcross, Georgia. Its 10 miles from the Convention Center but its very nice, and your team will be staying there. We have a special Vision rate. If you call for reservations there, be sure to ask for Jacquelyn Simmons

I am 99 percent certain that we are playing in Burlington, but I'll get you a definate answer soon.

Carter - thanks for info on AirTran and hotel lodgings......if I can work this out, I will. I hope you're playing in Barre instead of Burlington. Both are great 1930's small town basketball gyms but the Barre Auditorium is larger (more cowbells for us) and the atmosphere is much more electric (better for us again). Either way, we've been playing the same teams multiple times this year and it'll be good to play outside our comfort zone.

I'm personally hoping its Barre as well, but Burlington looks nice too. The pictures look phenomenal and the larger the crowd, the better.

Down here in the Blue South, we're down to the Bahamas and Georgia for opponents. Our fans will be excited to see the ABA Champs and its going to be a great warmup for us as we prepare for Quebec.

I should be there. I am looking forward to finally meeting you. You should have a blast at the game. The Aud is a great place to watch a ballgame but word to the wise; bring Advil. The cowbells will give a rookie a headache in about five minutes.

The Vision will be in for a real treat coming to Barre - great small town basketball, lots of noise, great fans, excellent team play!!!!
