Has anyone heard about the playoffs yet. I read on Zekes page they are taking top three teams in each division.
Also someone said they take two highest attendence teams to host the playoffs. So the Ek Miners are in the running for both if this is true.
Two local business have stepped up for the upcoming home games for us and all tickets are two dollars. So the numbers should go up for us. Hopefully we will finish strong and have a good playoff run.
Of course if all of the above is true.
GO MINERS!!!
I've seen nothing official, but I have seen it posted rumors of only the top two teams making it. a

..the Patroons don't deserve to go. Personally, I think it should be what it is in the rule book for this season, the top two in each division.
It won't be attendance that decides who hosts the playoffs, but record, though if you stick to the first two, Yakama and Minot get it anyway.

Our local announcer said last night that the playoff structure has been set.
Here's what he said:
The league announced that the top two teams from each division will meet in a three game playoff. The two winners of the divisions will meet in a five game playoff.

I was informed of a top 3 format by the league office but it makes me nervous they haven't announced it yet. Wouldn't suprise me since they originally said top 4, balked on their word, said top 3, that they would eventually settle on top 2.

So....Great Falls has, like, no chance of meeting Tuckman's stated goal (http://www.greatfallstribune.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080225/SPORTS/802250317) of making the playoffs and having a home playoff game against Yakima, right?
You'd think an owner would be kind of up to date on what's going on.
Then again, this is Tuckman we're talking about.

Why do they have to show an X player giving up a dunk. I think they did that on Purpose.

Is that my favorite CBA player, Marvin Phillips, in the Xplosion uniform? Just doesn't look right.
Where can I get one of those guides?
Phillips used to be with the X, before he was traded long ago. I don't know where this picture is that you speak of, but I'm guessing it is old.

I took that photo in December 2006 at the start of the season at the Armory. Yes, that's Marvin Phillips getting posterized by Jamario Moon. Notice the Xplosion's jerseys were leftover ABA jerseys for the first few weeks of that season, that's why they've got red-white-blue colors on the logo.
You should be able to order a media guide through the CBA front office, or through your local team.
And now you know why I hold onto my photo copyrights as fiercely as possible.
