The MLL has taken over the Philadelphia Barrage and will operate the franchise as a "road team" playing its 2008 home schedule in prospective MLL cities. Raleigh-Durham, St. Louis, Dallas Portland and Virginia Beach are possibilities.

I hope they play one of those "home" games in Portland like they are going to do in Cary, NC. I'd be there with my kids.

Just that it'll be at Hillsboro Stadium, not downtown... which probably makes sense. This sport probably belongs out in Washington County in a smaller stadium.

So what will happen to this team for 2009? Has anyone heard anything? The league is running out of time if they plan to relocate. If they do, I wonder if it will be to the West so that the conferences will be even at 5 teams apiece.
