I'm sorry, I'm letting some posters get to me, which I should not. Here are scores; Oklahoma 135, Atlanta 100 and Yakama 121, Albany 88

Well it looks like the Patroons don't want it, now the only question is do the Miners want it?

In case psbf didn't watch, I'll offer a reply. I actually stayed home and watched it and it worked GREAT! I had no buffering issues and they finally had the Magic 95 audio going too.

I had made it my goal to make it to all of the last 6 home games, but after going to the Thursday night game, I couldn't justify paying to see Atlanta again. I could tell they'd have a hard time keeping the score close and with money being a little tight now, I wanted to save some for the Yakama games! I'd pay double for those

I really do feel sorry for Atlanta. From what I gather the players are not getting paid. The league, other owners, are paying for their flights to games and hotels.

I had a good time at the game.

Glad to hear the webcast was up and running. I was able to sit behind one of the owners and he was telling me they were trying their best to get that part of the webcast working.

Thanks, Kev. But I did watch and I think it was an improvement. The radio was actually hooked up to the camera so I had play by play with the video that I was watching. It looked like another good turnout, Any numbers?
There was some buffering but overall, it was good(imo).

I think it was close to another 1,000 crowd.

Not a good last two nights to fill the stands...
High school basketball playoffs going on around the area and High School wreslting tourny for State going on in Oklahoma City.
That takes alot of kids/parents away for several days.

Good thing is that most if not all will be finished for Sunday's game vs. Yakama.

They are having a can food drive Sunday - Bring 2 cans of food and get $5 off a ticket to the game.

..but if it's a bad night for a crowd, it's good to have Atlanta in town.

Like the folding of ChampCar yesterday (I was a fan of that too) and the loss of 50 jobs at headquarters, you feel badly for the players in Great Falls and Atlanta. Clearly neither of these teams can come back in this form again, though at the same time I can understand the sentiment of the CBA to want to finish the last two weeks of the season. People here rightfully bust on the ABA for not playing games, after all.

I wonder if the two Pittsburgh postponements will be made of. I assume the Great Falls ones (except maybe the Butte game) won't be.

Speaking of Great Falls, why don't they just play their Yakama and Minot games as the "home" team at the road site? At least that way there would be a real crowd.

With their 7-0 quarterpoint sweep over Albany, the Sun Kings have notched their eighth 7-0 quarterpoint sweep of the season, a feat accomplished only three times in CBA history. They are holding their opponents to a 92.0 point total, and if they can shave that down to below 90.7, they will break the old defensive point mark set by the 1996-97 Florida Beachdogs. They can also set a record for the best quarterpoint average in CBA history, they're currently at 5.64 QPA.

On the other end of the spectrum, the Atlanta Krunk have set a misery record with their eighth 7-0 quarterpoint loss last night. That breaks the record of seven 7-0 quarterpoint losses, set all the way back in 1989-90 by the Columbus Horizon. The Krunk most likely will break two other futility records at the rate they're going - they have won only 46 quarters in the season, the record is 66 set by the 2001-02 Saskatchewan Hawks. They could also fall short of the worst quarterpoint average of 95.0, set by the 2005-06 Michigan Mayhem and the 1992-93 Rochester Renegades. The Krunk are holding their opponents to a league-high 116 points per game, but even with that average they won't break the worse defensive average of 136 points per game, set by the 1979-80 Scranton Aces.

Also, James Williams better win at least one game this year, or he will join Steve Tucker and Cliff Levingson and make this the first CBA season in a LONG time in which three head coaches posted winless records in the same year.

I would assume Atlanta is due one as Tuckman couldn't secure a court in Great Falls. I can't imagine that game getting made up.

On the court, I doubt the Krunk will win a game the rest of the season, though you never know.

The only place it has ever been reported that the Krunk have new owners ,was a report before the Sunkings game in the Yak Herald. Is it strange the league hasnt mentioned it? of course not.

..the Krunk change in ownership. The CBA office did announce the Minot, Great Falls and Oklahoma changes once they were approved, though it was a day or two after it was on OSC.

The radio announcer for the CAVS games said something to the effect that the Atlanta organization is going to try and get things straightened out for next year.

He never said new owners. He never said current owners either.

I do know that those players play their heart and and do not deserve to be treated like they are by the current owners of the team. Same for Great Falls.

I can only hope that they find better, reliable owners. Their fans deserve it.

What Fans?

Fans of the teams they have to play.

Don't get me wrong, I like a good game where everyone knows we are going to win, but come on.....

I, for one, would like to see the other team be some what competitive.
It is really hard to do that when there is only one guy on the bench and he is only at about 50%.

The supporters of GF and Atlanta. Admittedly, there are not a lot of them, but those who do attend their games deserve better.
