Oklahoma 150, Atlanta 115. The webcast was working with some buffering. It looked like there were maybe over 2,000 in attendence.

Webcast was fine for me with some audio problems in the first half. Attendance was likely only around 1,000 I'd guess.

Atlanta seems to only be able to compete 1st and 3rd quarters with a small roster, so they only play well when coming off a rest. They could have won if they had a few more players as the won the 1st and 3rd and played well doing so.

Expect a change to the Cavs lineup tomorrow.
Details to come later as things get finalized.

Attendance was just a few people short of 1,000. I think 986 was what the radio said.

I was told Nate Green (formerly of Great Falls) will be suited up for the Cavs tomorrow. Judson Stubbs will be cut.

Radio announcer said the CAVS will be siging Nate Green tomorrow.

It was Scout night for the CAVS. Girl and Boy scouts got discounted tickets for the game.

Sorry for the repeat Kev. I was slower in posting ...LOL

Good night to have Scout night. A friend at work had a scout meeting tonight and then tomorrow night they head out to the woods for 2 nights of camping.

I just thought it was an echo! :D

We Cav fans are all just so informed that we report stuff at the same time...

I talked to the guy doing the webcast and he said they were having some problems getting the Magic 95 audio on the webcast, so he still had that to figure out. He said he thought the video was working pretty good tonight.

PS Seats in the top 10 rows are now $10.00 for the rest of the year.

Even without the audio, I thought the video was pretty good especially the crowd noise, which lead me to believe that there was much more.

As long as they get it all working for Sunday and Monday's games. We don't want the Yakama fans to have to wait on Stat tracker or us for updates on thier team getting beat.

It was a ruff night for fans too, high schools basketball started area and regional tournaments for State tonight.

I know my company is having a Cavs night for tomorrow night. If I can find a sitter for the twins I will be there.

CAVS ROCK....

11 Wins in A ROW!

pbsf does metric attendance. He doubles it and adds thirty.

I like when people who are at the game tell me the attendance not people from somehwere else speculating.

Sun and Sam, it is too bad you can't take me seriously, there is so much Basketball to be talked about rather than you two being sarcastic about me and the team I root for.

The problem with Webcast is that the camera only shows one side of the arena. So while the camera side of the stands might be full of people, the other side could be half full giving the impression that there was/ is hardly anyone at the game.

I say this because the last game I went to it was this way. Sat in sec. D near the top. Sec A/B/C is on the other side (Camera View) and it didn't look there there was very many people. Took a walk around and look at the section I was in (Camera side) and it was packed.

Until the attandance is announced at the game, on the radio, or in the box score there is no telling how many attend the game by just watching the Web Cast, when it is working...

GO CAVS!

You've proven you can't be taken seriously. Your posts usually have a tenuous grip on reality.

okcavs67, that's the way it is at Xplosion games. There are always more supporters on one side than the other for whatever reason.

Sam, that's your problem not mine. I'm here to talk Basketball not make it personal.

Safe to presume that people don't like to sit behind the benches? Will modern technology allow people to see through benched standing big men?

That actually doesn't make as much sense to me as outdoor stadia and people not wanting to sit where the sun's in their eyes. That's partially why MLS games sometimes look emptier on TV than they really are (not by too much, mind you)... and why Barra Brava in DC is a godsend.

If you're going to guess at a crowd because you don't trust (and, general rule, you shouldn't) the announced numbers, get up high and look. When you're in a seat and see plenty of people to one side of you, you're usually certain to overestimate the number.

If my crappy camera can take some good shots I will take pic's of both sides of the GPC and post them later.

Everyone has a right to their opinion. It's sad that so many on here are so judgemental. That's a fact!!

I have none, I have no inside knowledge of how the CBA is run, managed, operated, their finances or anything else regarding their profit/loss, growth/expansion strategies, branding, marketing or anything else, just like you rams80...clueless. So let's stop picking on true CBA fans like PSBF....it is fans like PSBF that will see this league through in whatever form it finally stabilizes in. This league has been dealt some real tough blows over the past few years including the Isiah era and the NBDL raid of circa 2006 and it is still here and still has true fans, who yes, see the world through the rose colored glasses of their team. SO WHAT!

Inflate the attendance PSBF, just like every minor league in history has and will always do and when you feel guilty about it, go catch an NBDL game on TV and watch what they call 3500.

Enjoy the All Star game next year PSBF and the final stretch this year, it is exciting. Hopefully, we'll have a bus from albany down to see you for AllStar 2009.

Since somebody was offended by the old post.....

Pollyannish behavior will not see this league through to survival. Wearing the foam finger and jumping on any post that questions any aspect of the organization will not see this league through to survival. Denial of well below Mendoza line attendance numbers REPORTED BY THE TEAM IN QUESTION will not see this league through to survival.

Honest criticism, and the willingness to see that the CBA has several very, very legitimate problems right now that call its continued survival into question and calling the league and its teams on it, might. Saying the CBA will survive because it always has will not fix anything, and indeed is akin to sticking one's head in the sand like an ostrich.

Solid post Rams. No one wants to see the league fail, many of us live in these podunk towns and enjoy it immensley. But obviously there are some issues. No one draws enough people to sustain a team right now except the Sunkings, and I would say there is a very good chance this could be their last year or next to last possibley. 500 to 1500 isnt nearly enough and thats all anyone gets.

THe Cavs had just over 1,200 for their game vs the Krunk on Friday night.
They had just under 1,000 for the Thursday night game.

I think that they just might sell out the game/ Games for Yakama.

Good promotions and its Yamama!

Good promotions and its Yamama!

It's "Yamama?"

Oh I get it...

Yo Mamma!

As in --

Yo Mamma's free throws are so scary they make Cloverfield look like a Disney movie!
Yo Mamma's so slow they clocked her being in the shooting lane with a sundial!
Yo Mamma's so dumb she's the only player whose jersey number is the same as her IQ!
Yo Mamma's game has more bricks than a masonry convention!
Yo Mamma's game is so poor, even if she played for hte Xplosion PSBF wouldn't root for her
Yo Mamma's so clumsy she tripped over the halfcourt line
Yo Mamma's offense so weak she was on an open fast break to the hoop and got called for a charge
Yo Mamma's so ugly she makes John Strickland look like George Clooney
Yo Mamma's feet are so big, her last pair of Nikes were too big for Bozo
Yo Mamma's so hungry she heard it was all you could eat night at the Wild Boar Inn, she stopped by and drove the place into bankruptcy
Yo Mamma's so ugly Moose Lewis wants to use her face for the logo of his next GBA team
Yo Mamma's so smelly after the game, she doesn't use Right Guard she uses Yard Guard
Yo Mamma's so dumb she thought Dunkin' Donuts was a place where you could meet NBA stars, she went in and when she was asked if she wanted coffee she said "I'd like Olajuwon with Kareem."

Fingers can be Freudian too!

:D

I listened to reports of psychology trends. Even they're finding that an "in your face" approach has advantages over the soft-pedaling "positivity" that has been so in vogue for some time. I doubt that works for every person (not to mention every market), but perhaps more is in order.

Perhaps I'd be demanding Ricardo Richardson's head on a platter at this point. A little regional sanity might also be in my thinking... but I'm as much a dreamer as anyone.

t is fans like PSBF that will see this league muddle around for the next several years, and years from he'll be the guy still wearing an Xplosion t-shirt and lamenting the fact that the team is gone and he still won't have kissed a girl.
