The reason given on the UIF site is a bunch of mumbo jumbo.

If I were to take a guess, the old logo looked rather unexciting.

Granted, this is a downgrade from the old logo, but that is my theory as to the change.

It's an upgrade, in my opinion. This new logo is much better than the old one, hands down.

Might I say it looks more international.....maybe so they can expand into Canada.....Just a thought.

It would be nice to have a team a little closer than a 7 hour drive.
You know, just for those weekends when I don't feel like driving 3000+ miles to see a couple of games. Not that I don't enjoy that, but you just can't do that every weekend.

cause they need a reason to have a press release and with only 8 teams there arent many reasons

That's right, because if there's one thing the NIFL proved it is that more teams equals a better league. </sarcasm>
