Well, let me start with saying .FINALLY!!!! It's about time football came back to Erie. We did have a team (Erie Invaders) and was well supported, until the league was bought out, and we didn't get a team. I for one, went to each and every home game. Including a bus trip to Johnstown. I can assure you that this new team will get as much ,if not more support from fans. I know of atleast 5 family members that will have season tickets for next year.
Looking forward to 2005

What league?
The Atlantic Indoor Football League AIFL.
They now join Johnstown and Carolina. Three teams announced they better announce the rest of the teams before Chritmas so they can market the teams enough.

the Erie Invader were in IFL, before they were bought out and we wern't given a team in that league, so we rented out our turf and goal posts. I'm glad we still have that, so we can enjoy it this coming year

personally, I'mnot content to just watch the team this year. I am gonna try out as soon as the info on it's posted.

I just wonder if the AIFL and the UIFL and others aren't trying to get themselves into a position to join a larger league? I think even the UIFL might see this as a spat and really just want's the NIFL to slow expansion and become more professional.
Being from St. Louis it saddens me to see our team left behind, but the Believers have survived I think 4 leagues now so hopefully they are here to stay.

My cousins that live in Erie said that the Invaders were in the AFL2 league.
