View Full Version : ABA St. Louis
The family arena where the Rots were to play their home games now list a team called the St. Louis Flight as a team to play in the ABA. Now we know why the Rots website has not been updated and their schedule is all mixed up. Sounds like a new ownership group came in at the last moment and is trying to reorganize this ABA franchise. Too many teams too fast make the ABA look like bush leaguers.

Are they going to play the New Jersey SkyCats? Er, I mean Jaguars?
WTF is Jersey's name? They've been the Jaguars, their website says Jaguars, but game stories recently have called them the Sky Cats and now this site has them as Sky Cats.
This is a glorified AAU league.
Oh, and there's no way they can afford to play at the Family Arena for more than a few weeks. No way.

They started the season as the Rotweilers, didn't they? Now they are the Flight? Weren't the Flight in another league last year? It looks like all of the ABA teams have now played. Did St. Louis play their game(s) as the Rotweilers or the Flight? Any information appreciated.

The St. Louis team was renamed "Flight" before playing their first game.
Calgary has not played an ABA game yet, and I think Oklahoma City has yet to play. Pennsylvania has yet to complete it's first game. The ABA standings on the website are wrong. Nashville and Utah both won Wednesday night to stay unbeaten.

Well, Pennsylavania would have completed thyre firsst game, except in the 4th quarter their coach had a heart attack and died. I'm pretty sure the game didnt count, but the aba sit lists the pit bulls as 0-0, while the teams site lists them as 1-0.
