I'm back...yes it's been that long since the last Halifax home game. Ended up with 82 photos this time around, as the Quebec Kebekwa (or simply "Kebs") get a 120-102 win over the Rainmen...

Our coaching is terrible.

i was just curious about actual attendance, but couldn't tell much from the pictures. i watched a pbl game streamed last night (the first game they have played mid week i think) and there was only a fraction (i mean small fraction) of what they had been getting at their weekend games. is the weekend/weekday experience the same in halifax?

So far, weekend games have typically doubled in attendance. Week days are normally in the lower 1,000's. Last night was announced at about 1,500.

Plus yesterday's bad weather in Halifax (snow, then freezing rain, followed by heavy rain) surely kept some folks at home...

sounds very respectable for both weekday/weekend numbers for minor league ball (not to mention the weather.) i haven't followed halifax or the aba much this year, but halifax looks to be a very strong group.

This picture gives you a good look at the crowd:

thanks for the photo of the crowd. Thats a real arena, with real costs, not some normal ABAish high school gym or abandoned airplane hanger. No wonder Andre is nervous about this being done right.

Hes' got a lot on the line. Throw in the added expense of having to fly teams into town because they have a travel budget of thirty bucks and he could lose a lot of money. I hope it works out for him.
