Is this league for real? Sometimes I wonder if this is just a make believe league and you guys are all just having fun on this message board. LOL

I hear the circus theme song playing again..........................

Not really. Some of the teams look like they are for real, but they will be pulled down by the rest of the garbage (which looks like the majority). It doesn't matter if a team is CBA quality or better if the other team doesn't show up to play. Joe Newman is a dufuss. He desperately needs a new press release writer (and rug maker! ). I wonder if, when he takes a dump it is an "exciting, fast paced, high scoring" brand of dump? When you use the same fill-in-the-blanks template for your press releases over and over again, people start to catch on.

Tonight's the night for the Motown Jammers. I plan on going to the game so, if they play, they are guaranteed to clear $10 at the door.  I say "at the door" because that is the only place tickets are available. No pre-sale of tickets whatsoever! No marketing whatsoever, no website, only 3 announced players, but a front office of at least 10! I'm going to mainly to see the train wreck.

Maybe I'll be wrong. Maybe all of the things I have posted here will be wrong. Maybe there will be a full roster capable of putting on a great game, plenty of Jammers merchandise to buy, concession stands to fill up at, and thousands of butts in the seats. Ya, and monkeys might fly out of my butt!

Either way, I will post my findings on this message board for anyone who cares (or not).

there will probably be at least 2500 fans listed on the official attendence.

I have digital photos of the bleachers on each side. I changed sides at the half. By my count there were 80 on the bench side, taken halfway through the 2nd quarter. There were 92 on the entrance side, taken halfway through the 3rd quarter. Then there was me, of course, who is on the opposite side in each picture. That gives a grand total of 173 butts in the seats (bleachers actually.... no seats). If anyone says different, I can send the pictures to anyone who wants to see them.

Sadly, the Jammers will not survive the season.

Oh, final score: Kentucky 112 - Motown 95
