not so fast

Even though I have not seen Eastern Kentucky play, I do follow the CBA closely. And I was wondering, whats wrong with this team? It has been a lot of Hype about the coach, and I am not trying to offend anyone, but if he is as good as the reports and rankings, then why is he not winning?
I know there has been injuries but all teams have injuries. Press releases are okay, but at the end of the day you have to win games. Seems like Coach Daleo wins a lot of games, and if this Kentucky coach is in the top 10 coaches, then where does that place Daleo?
Seems to me the coach Knox from Pittsburgh deserves some credit, he has had a lot of roster changes for various reasons and continues to win.
I will say this, you fans of Kentucky are great. You really support your team.
maybe next season things will work out better.
I think coach Keathley is a good coach. The Miners just ran into a hot Skyrockets team, who had just come off losing to us and they needed to take it out in Pikeville. I expect the Miners to make it tough on us tonight as they still have a very good team. Hopefully the Xplosion will be keep things going with another win tonight, though. Coach Knox has been good, this season, not allowing the team to get into a slump and I hope to see another good crowd tonight. But the Miners are always a concern(imo).

I don't think anything is wrong such as personal problems with the team, they just havn't been able to finish in the final minutes. I can't tell you how many games they've went into the 4th with a good lead and end up losing by 1 or 2. All season long we've played as good as anyone, nobody has beat us double digit points, we just can't get it done in the closing minutes. That's just my opinion.

The top coach in the CBA. Yeah, yeah I know what you’re going to say... Woolpert... yeah, he wins games but I'm willing to bet not on the budget Coach Daleo has to work with. Not saying our players are underpaid or anything like that, but I’m guessing that Yakima’s payroll is higher with them being "established". Anyways, Minot is lucky to have him.

I would agree to a small degree, even though we draw well the purse strings seem very tight. Most of the vets on the Sunkings have made some good money in their careers both in the Nba and Overseas so they didnt come here for the money.

Being a season ticket holder and die-hard Miners fan, I can't begin to tell you the headaches and heartaches I've experienced watching the Miners play 4th quarter ball; however, I've noticed lately that Coach Keathly has been calling timeouts at the appropriate times when the other teams begin their early 4th quarter runs. This has helped control the bleeding, but as my diehard buddy notes (you can't miss us...we sit behind the visitor's bench every game) we seem to have a substitution problem in the fourth quarter. But now, even this issue is being resolved by the coach. All in all, the Miner's players, coaches, and front office staff are doing an outstanding job.

Once again this is a post giving Jason some praise. It seems when Da Coach sits Jason down for a rest at the start of the fourth quarter we loose our heart. The miners start turning the ball over, shooting bad shots and quit rebounding. I cant explain the pain that this can cause two faithful fans who cheer and jeer every possession. I think if our players would show some emotion on the court that they could wake a sleeping giant and make the EXPO Center an awsome 6th man thus making it a true home court advantage.
I can remember one time when Josh Pace encourgaged the croud to cheer and they responded ( Poptartguy and I dont need a lot of encouraging) loudly and the miners pulled out a tough game. So to sum it up we need to rest Jason a little earlier, get the team healthy and some fans to get loud.
