ABA results

I am jumping the gun on results of last nights game but if anyone has them please post them.

If you attend any games please post the results that night. These were the three games on tap for last night. The Arkansas paper stated they expected a real large crowd as did the Maryland paper. For the record, the 0 for New Jersey and Maryland came from the ABA site. I immediately thought forfeit by one of the teams but the score would have read 2 to 0.

I'm beginning to doubt that a game was played in Visalia. It was listed as 7:05 pm MT, but Visalia is on PT. I believe Visalia just replaced Calgary in the schedule on the league site (and OSC as well). Some adjustments will have to be made to the team schedule, and last night may have been the first.

The Maryland paper yesterday said the team was "hoping" for a big crowd.

What they apparently got was what you usually get when you rely on the "hope" strategy of selling tickets. Today's paper said it was a "sparse" crowd.

Tickets don't sell themselves.

As for Visalia, I'll bet they just changed "Calgary" to "Visalia" everywhere and didn't change "MT" to "PT."

And I'd also imagine they didn't play in Visalia last night. Which wouldn't stop them from just making up a score, I think they've done that before.
