Here it is: the final All-Time Roster of the Dakota Wizards (1995-2007). This compilation is based on the final team statistics from every year in every league. Let's hope that the Wizards will be with us for the next 12 years.

Nice. I have the same thing, just not as well organized... I also didn't include guys like Demond Stone, as there's nothing really that says he actually even suited up.. He is in the program as an assistant coach.. Good to see another Wizards fan on here..

Thank you!

I think we had missed some of those names.

That is the list of every player that's played for the Wizards, broken down by playoff games, regular season games, and combined.

When was that last updated? After last season?

Yeah... I did a big history of the Wizards thing, complete with everything the tribune has, so that's pretty accurate...

Wow. That is amazing. Only one tiny mistake that I may have found in stathunter's list - Miles Simon. He was not with the team in 2000. I believe there was another guy, if I remember right from the list we created last summer, named Mike Simon who played during 2000-2001. The only reason I noticed this is because Miles was simply the greatest Dakota Wizard of all time and my favorite player that's ever been on the team. But I'll definitely save that list for future references!! Thanks for posting it.

Did you know that, during the 2000-01 Playoffs, the final official statistics made some big mistakes: first they missed some complete totals from Kevin Beard and second they credited some games of Kevin Beard to Darius Beard. Really crazy. Fortunately for us all, the Bismarck Tribune covered all their games, and posted the complete stats :)

For all of you who want to see the complete one, see the attachement.

I checked my files again, and you are right. It's a misspelled name. It's Mike Simon, a 6-9, 235 lbs Forward from Virginia Union. Sorry for that, but there are a lot of wrong written names in the IBA Statistics. I will check all the 200+ names in the future.

I used everything Lou had, so my list is correct..

I noticed that you have Junior Harrington on the list without a year next to his name. My roster says that he was with the team in 2003-04. But did he ever play?

Also, my list has a guy named Justin Wismer, but he's not on your list. I searched his name and I found some old SI transactions that said we signed him, but that was during the preseason so I don't know if he made the final roster.

Junior Harrington played in one game during the 2003-2004 season, the home opener.

Okay, thank you. I can't remember ever seeing him play so I had to make sure.

That's correct. I got the same information. Document is updated. Justin Wismer was NOT on the regular season nor playoff roster. At no time.

I wonder why he only played one game... He's obviously one of the better players to pass thru Bismarck.. But that game he had 9 points, 3 assists, and 2 boards in 21 minutes..

If you're referring to Junior Harrington, it was because his contract was bought out by an overseas team. He has played for a number of NBA teams and I believe he was one of the main players on the Nuggets roster the year before he came to Bismarck.

That'd be what I assumed.. He's still bounced around the NBA since then as well..

Please note that I corrected the years for Malik Dixon. Dixon played for Dakota from 1998-2000 and in 2002-03. He spent the whole 2000-01 Season in France with Limoges.

Actually, Malik played one game in Dakota in 2000-01.

I second that. I remember having that information when I was putting together the rosters last summer.

Malik Dixon DID NOT PLAY for the Dakota Wizards in 2000-01. I got the boxscores from that season and, I don't know the reason, but they made a mistake. Not the only that Howe Sportsdata made over the years, BTW. Kevin Beard will be credited with the stats.

Here are the facts:
1. The error occured in the game on Dec. 16, 2000 vs the Billings RimRockers (106-101 ot win for the Wizards).
2. Limoges CSP played 30 regular season games (23-7, 53 pts)
3. Malik Dixon played 30 regular season games. This means: He played in ALL regular season games.
4. I got four different sources that say he played 30 games.
5. One of the 30 games he played, was on Dec. 16, 2000 at Beauvais (which Limoges won 87-81).
6. Transactions from IBA Website never listed Malik Dixon.

The result is: it was IMPOSSIBLE for Malik Dixon to play for Dakota. That's it.

I don't know where you got your information, but please verify them first before you re-post.

That's pretty crazy that they made a mistake in the box score... I would have assumed someone would pick that up...

I think I had found a lot of my information from eurobasket.com when I was still a writer for the site. I was able to browse full profiles of any player and I remember checking Malik Dixon's and it said he played one game. But who knows. There tends to be a lot of mistakes in those profiles at times. Unfortunately my account was eventually deleted after I stopped writing for the CBA and D-League pages and now I can't browse player profiles anymore. Otherwise I would copy and paste everything from his profile just to show you what it said, even if it was wrong.
