Starting a new thread, hope this helps everyone.

IF ONLY DIVISION WINNERS MAKE PLAYOFFS

Yakama's magic number over Oklahoma is 68.5
Minot's magic number over Pittsburgh is 73.0

IF TOP TWO TEAMS MAKE PLAYOFFS

Yakama's magic number over Butte is 34.0
Oklahoma's magic number over Butte is 106.0
Minot's magic number over Albany is 88.5
Pittsburgh's magic number over Albany is 100

IF FOUR TEAMS FROM EACH DIVISION MAKE PLAYOFFS

Yakama would qualify for playoffs
Oklahoma's magic number over Rio Grande Valley is 61.0
Butte's magic number over Rio Grande Valley is 67.5
Great Falls' magic number over Rio Grande Valley is 96.5

Minot's magic number over Atlanta is 18.5
Pittsburgh's magic number over Atlanta is 30.0
Albany's magic number over Atlanta is 63.5
East Kentucky's magic number over Atlanta is 58.0

The league doesn't even know. There is supposedly going to be a conference call with all the owners in the near future to determine that. However, from what I hear even after that it really doesn't matter because the league can change their minds whenever.

I'm hoping for the four teams from each division make it, I think the CBA would make more money that way and it would be a lot funner to watch a longer playoffs.

Nubb, the majority of CBA teams aren't making money, so how in the world do you figure that the CBA would make more money with more teams in the playoffs? That would just require additional money for payroll and travel.

Not only that but no professional league should allow 80% of their teams to make the playoffs. Why even play a regular season then?

You will not make more money on playoffs. More travel, more payroll.

You do not get additional sponsor payment for the playoffs. They are organized to quickly most of the time for group tickets, extra rental costs, etc.
