Atlanta Vision Outlast Visiting
Bahama All Pro Show 107-90

It was an epic battle of monumental proportions as the two heavyweight division titans, #1 ranked Atlanta Vision and #2 ranked Bahama All Pro Show, took the court to identify the undisputed leader. Atlanta jumped out to an early 10-2 lead to open the first 4 minutes of play. At the end of the first half, the Bahama All Pro Show cut the Vision’s lead to 2 with a score of 51-49.

Atlanta came out in the 3rd quarter to prove that there will only be one division champion this season, out scoring their Caribbean visitors 31-15, making the overall score 82-64 going into the 4th quarter. The Vision stayed strong for the remainder of the game and finished in a dominate fashion with a 107-90 victory.

It was a total team effort as the Atlanta Vision had four players with double – double performances. Vision’s Sean “High Percent” Dixon led all scores with 29 points and an impressive 6 of 9 from behind the arc. Dixon also grabbed 10 rebounds and collected 4 steals for the night. Two-time All-American and Gwinnett’s own Dacula High School graduate, B.J. “Pound 4 Pound” Puckett, showed everyone who was the man in the paint adding 19 points, 13 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Frank “Da Bank” Pinson had a productive evening with 13 assists, 10 rebounds, and 9 points. And-1 Streetball World Tour and ESPN star Robert “50” Martin from College Park, Georgia, aided the Vision’s win with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Part 2 of the double header between Atlanta Vision and Bahama All Pro Show takes place Friday, February 1, 2008. Doors open at 6:30 PM with a 7:30 PM tip-off at the Gwinnett Center. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets and the Gwinnett Center Box office.

Not exactly the greatest of competition:
South Wins Losses
Orlando Aces 1 0 1.000
Atlanta Vision 4 2 0.667
Bahama Pro Show 1 3 0.250
Georgia Gwizzlies 1 8 0.111

a .250 winning percentage is "a titan"??? Come on ABA writers...Did Joe send you a writing course too???

Sam! Great picture....

I loved the press release. Its all good stuff. All the words are spelled correctly. We should get a complement for that! The games in the ABA are exciting (when they are played!) and their is nothing wrong with a press release that promotes the excitement.

Q and the Vision put on another great show last night as Atlanta defeated the Bahamas Pro Show...112-77. BJ Puckett and Sean Dixon scored early and often contributing 22 and 25 points respectively.

Atlanta is now 6-2 and undefeated in America. We are returning to Singapore for two more games against the mighty Olympians. Our Asian opponent will see a much different Vision team on March 1st and 2nd.

Our two game series at Nassau was postponed due to "venue issues" by the home team. We've been told that they have resolved it and have tentatively rescheduled those games for the 16th and 17th.

Carter, do they actually have a venue in the Bahamas? I don't think they've played a home game in Nassau. Good job on the release though. I wish all ABA teams did things like you guys. Too many Corning Tax-Payer Bulldogs and Peoria Chapter 11 Kings and you water down the league.

I'm a-okay with The Vision.

But the problem is ...

The ABA CEO is totally disrepecting the owners, teams and fans, by allowing the Orlando Aces to win YOUR DIVISION with a perfect, 1-0, 1.000 PCT, record!

No matter how you look at it, I'm afraid it makes you all look silly!

You gotta laugh when the saving grace of a BS press release is that it is spelled correctly...

Of course, all credibility is shot with the local media with the rest of it... If there is any credibility with the local media in the first place.

Legitimate media releases should have a little bit of journalistic integrity...This one drops to "Gwizz" levels.

Ooops...thanks for the catch Paul. I guess I need to leave the spelling responsibilities to Quentin.

To answer your question, there is no permanent set venue for the Bahama Pro Show that we are aware of. Our last scheduled road trip was postponed because of issues locking down the venue on the requested dates. Hopefully, all will be in order for the rescheduled trip.

Magician...I agree that the ABA office needs to remove Orlando from the division standings.
