It was an epic battle of monumental proportions as the two heavyweight division titans, #1 ranked Atlanta Vision and #2 ranked Bahama All Pro Show, took the court to identify the undisputed leader. Atlanta jumped out to an early 10-2 lead to open the first 4 minutes of play. At the end of the first half, the Bahama All Pro Show cut the Vision’s lead to 2 with a score of 51-49.
Atlanta came out in the 3rd quarter to prove that there will only be one division champion this season, out scoring their Caribbean visitors 31-15, making the overall score 82-64 going into the 4th quarter. The Vision stayed strong for the remainder of the game and finished in a dominate fashion with a 107-90 victory.
It was a total team effort as the Atlanta Vision had four players with double – double performances. Vision’s Sean “High Percent” Dixon led all scores with 29 points and an impressive 6 of 9 from behind the arc. Dixon also grabbed 10 rebounds and collected 4 steals for the night. Two-time All-American and Gwinnett’s own Dacula High School graduate, B.J. “Pound 4 Pound” Puckett, showed everyone who was the man in the paint adding 19 points, 13 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Frank “Da Bank” Pinson had a productive evening with 13 assists, 10 rebounds, and 9 points. And-1 Streetball World Tour and ESPN star Robert “50” Martin from College Park, Georgia, aided the Vision’s win with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
