The Canadian Professional Hockey League is another proposed league that was to start in October 2004, but its web site has no information on a season. Six cities were finalized--Buffalo (NY), Sault Ste. Marie (MI), and the Ontario cities of Niagara Falls, North Bay, St. Catherines, and Timmins.
