Columbia, Pennsylvania - The EGGPLANTS are planning to postpone a scheduled exhibition game against the “yet to be named” 2nd club for $19.99 All-Stars due to concerns that the Bank of America may pay less for Countrywide Financial than the team owner expected. Eggplants and 2nd club for $19.99 All-Stars owner Bectond reiterated that due to the volatile nature of Countrywide Financial stock he just can’t afford to take his eyes off his laptop until Bank of America “buys the damn thing.”
Plans to launch veggies and basketball.com have also been suspended due to the owners propensity to engage in arbitage.
Both clubs are currently looking at joining a “minor leaque,” industry observers have suggested the Eggplants join the ABA for the low introductory price of $19.99, then parley the 2nd club for $19.99 All-Stars into a $20,000 windfall by convincing a sucker that the team and the leaque has some value.
“Bectond is very smart, and he is a ruthless negotiator. He has watched the ABA saga unfold over the last five years, and now he is ready to pick up a franchise for a very cheap price,” Unknown Blogger said.
