This from Tuesday's Las Vegas Sun:

"There's a rumor that has a new Las Vegas team in the on-again, (mostly) off-again reincarnation of the old ABA being formed and playing its games in the new Orleans Arena with the eccentric Dennis Rodman as coach. Steve Stallworth, who runs the arena, said he had an informal discussion with a representative of the proposed franchise (no, it wasn't Rodman) but that the Orleans isn't interested"

Very interesting. I would prefer the league not let Rodman in. But as the saying goes "bad publicity..."

I keep hearing that Rodzilla still wants to play again. Personally I think he would make a better player then a coach even at 42 years of age. Besides, his act would get old with his teamates as a coach a LOT faster then as a player.

As much as I want to see a new ABA succeed I wonder if it can make it even with Kansas City still on board. (Good franchise, good fans, weak league at the present time.)

Again, bad pub is good pub, Peace!

Regardless of who the coach is, isn't it a little late to be searching for a venue??

The were supposed to have played 4 homes games by the end of this week!!

All this is doing is messing up the schedule even more (and it was definitely the WORST scheduled ever released for any league in any sport at any level to begin with).

Schedule changes in a league like this will only cost the other teams with increased travel costs.
