ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades announced that forward Ernie Hartlieb has been loaned to Rochester of the American Hockey League. This is Hartlieb's first promotion to the AHL since the 2004-05 season, where he played in 44 games with Grand Rapids and two with Lowell. Rochester is hosting Toronto tonight and searching for their tenth straight victory.
The Warren Michigan native has three goals and five points with 14 penalty minutes so far this season with the 'Blades in 11 starts. He is in his sixth season with Florida and overall has appeared in 285 regular season contests. During that span the 6-foot-2, 210-pounder has 77 goals, 134 assists for 211 points. Hartlieb has also appeared in 54 Kelly Cup playoff games with the Blades. He has 10 goals and 27 points with 28 penalty minutes in ECHL playoff action with Florida.
